Two solid half dollars are shown to your spectators.

A cigarette, golf pencil or pen is placed to the backs of the halves. The object is pushed through the coins half way. The halves now both have holes through their centers.

When the object is pulled through the coins, the coins are shown to have turned into two Chinese coins!
